Overview

Ronnie Poole is a young DJ with a serious amount of talent. He brings energy, personality and real skill to every set he plays, and he needed photography that showed exactly that. AVRS Media were brought in to cover one of his live events, capturing Ronnie in his natural environment and producing a set of promo and press shots that reflect his brand authentically and professionally.

The challenge

Live event photography for a DJ is all about timing and atmosphere. The energy of a set changes second to second and the lighting conditions at live events are rarely forgiving. The challenge was to capture Ronnie at his best, in the middle of a performance, with images sharp and dynamic enough to work as professional promo material. The shots needed to feel alive, not like standard event coverage.

The solution

The AVRS Media team worked around Ronnie throughout the event, reading the room and timing shots to capture the moments that showed his talent and personality at their best. The final images gave Ronnie a collection of high quality promo and press shots he can use across his social media, booking profiles and brand materials. For a young DJ building his name, having photography that looks as professional as his performances is a real advantage, and that is exactly what we set out to deliver.
