Know More
Some days are too important to leave to chance. When Public Sewer Services rebranded as PSS Utilities, we were the ones trusted to capture it properly, and we made sure every second of it earned its place in the story.
Capturing the Day PSS Became PSS Utilities
When Public Sewer Services was acquired by Adler & Allan Group and rebranded to PSS Utilities, the unveiling wasn't a quiet internal memo sent round on a Friday afternoon. It was a full day of directors, shareholders and employees from both companies coming together to walk the site, hear the story behind the new name, and meet PSS Utilities face to face for the first time. AVRS Media was brought in to document all of it, from the first handshake in the car park to the final speech in the room, delivering photography built to work as hard for national press as it did for the people who actually lived that day and will remember it long after the headlines move on.

Problem
One Day, No Room for a Second Take
A rebrand unveiling happens once, and there's no calling people back to redo the handshake if you miss it the first time. PSS Utilities needed a photographer who understood that every handshake, every speech, and every unscripted moment of directors and shareholders networking mattered just as much as the formal announcement itself, and that some of what got captured that day would end up in front of press, industry publications and the public, not just tucked away in an internal gallery nobody opens twice.

Solution
Three Hundred Photos, Every Angle Covered
We covered the full day from start to finish: the site walkthrough, directors and shareholders speaking to the room, the networking that happened in the gaps between the formal moments, and the general atmosphere of a company stepping into a new name in front of the people who mattered most to it. We delivered around 300 photos from the day, giving PSS Utilities and Adler & Allan a library that covered every angle from every part of the event, formal enough to sit comfortably in press coverage, human enough to actually feel like the day it was.

Concept
A Rebrand Is a Story, Not Just an Announcement
Anyone with a decent camera can point it at a podium and call it done. We treated the day like the story it actually was: a company with a new name, new backing, and a room full of people meeting each other properly for the first time, all under one roof. That's why the photography ranged from formal leadership shots that could run in any press release to candid networking moments that showed the human side of an acquisition, giving PSS Utilities coverage that told the full day, start to finish, instead of just the five minutes that made the headline.
The rebrand and the day itself were covered across multiple industry outlets, including Water Magazine and Adler & Allan's own coverage, with AVRS photography featured directly alongside the story in both places. Real proof that when a company changes its name in front of the people who matter most, we're the ones trusted to help the world see it properly.
