Know More
We take pride in the work we do, and pride doesn't check the calendar first, because when Mentalk Sittingbourne needed us for their charity football match, we said yes before we'd even properly found our feet.
The Charity Match That Helped Build AVRS
This one goes back to the early days of AVRS Media, back when we were still building the name into something people recognised. Jason reached out on behalf of Mentalk Sittingbourne, a mental health charity, asking us to capture a charity football match, and it was about as last minute as a booking gets. We said yes anyway, because giving back to causes like this was never something we planned to wait until we were established enough to afford. It became one of our very first charity clients, and looking back, it's exactly the kind of work that set the tone for everything AVRS has done since.

Problem
A Last Minute Ask, Early in Our Own Story
Being asked at short notice to cover a full charity football match would be a tight turnaround for any agency, but doing it in the early stages of AVRS, before we had a long list of past work to lean on, meant there was no room to phone it in. Mentalk Sittingbourne needed proper coverage of the match, the players, and the branding that mattered to them, and we needed to prove, to ourselves as much as anyone, that we could deliver it properly under pressure.

Solution
Full Coverage, Delivered in Numbers
We covered the charity football match from start to finish, capturing the players in action, group shots of the teams, and the Mentalk branding woven through the day, making sure every image could genuinely be used across their social media afterwards. We delivered around 500 photos from the match, giving Mentalk Sittingbourne a proper library to pull from for months of posts rather than a handful of rushed shots from a last minute booking.

Concept
Say Yes First, Prove It Second
There wasn't a clever concept behind this one, just a decision to say yes to a good cause on short notice and back it up with real effort once we were there. Early on, that's how AVRS earned trust, not through polished pitches, but by turning up for charities like Mentalk when it mattered and delivering work that held up regardless of how little notice we'd had to prepare for it.
Mentalk Sittingbourne received around 500 photos from the match, which were used extensively across their social media, including group shots of the players and clear coverage of the Mentalk branding throughout the day, giving one of Kent's mental health charities a genuine visual record of a day built to support them.
