Know More
Some DJs need press shots in a studio. Others need proof they can command a room, and Rocket had already done that before we even picked up the camera.
Capturing Rocket Behind the Decks at Social Chill
Rocket, Ronnie Poole to those who knew him before the decks, is a young DJ with real talent and the ambition to match it, and when he booked a set at Social Chill Bar in Maidstone, he wanted more than a memory of the night. He wanted proof. AVRS Media was brought in to capture him live in the mix, using the club's own lighting and atmosphere to turn a single night behind the decks into a visual identity he could use to build momentum for everything that came after it.

Problem
A Talented DJ With Nothing to Show For It Yet
Rocket had the skill and the sets to prove it, but talent behind the decks doesn't automatically translate into content that gets him booked again. Without strong photography from an actual live set, he had no way to show promoters, venues or his own following what he genuinely looks like in his element, in front of a crowd, in a real room, doing the thing he's good at.

Solution
Working the Club's Own Lighting to Get the Shot
Rather than fight the environment, we used it. Social Chill's own lighting became the tool, giving us the colour, contrast and energy that a set of studio shots could never replicate. We captured Rocket mid-set with high quality photography built to hold up close up and at a distance, and delivered 30 photos from the night, giving him a genuine library to pull from across social media and future event posters, all from a single night behind the decks.

Concept
Real Sets Make Better Content Than Staged Ones
Anyone can book a studio and fake the energy of a live crowd. We didn't want to fake it, we wanted to capture it. Working with the club's actual lighting instead of bringing in our own meant every shot looked like exactly what it was, a young DJ genuinely in the mix, not a recreation of one. That authenticity is what makes the difference between content that gets scrolled past and content that gets someone booked.
Rocket now has 30 photos from the night live across his social media and ready to go for future event posters, giving him a real, high quality visual presence to back up the talent every time he steps behind the decks again.
