Know More
We take pride in the work we do, and we take even more pride in the work we do for nothing, because giving back to the community isn't a marketing line for us, it's something we build into how we run every single year.
Giving Back to Kent, One Charity Day at a Time
Sittingbourne Rugby Club held a charity golf day in support of Wooden Spoon, the UK's leading children's charity dedicated to transforming the lives of disabled, disadvantaged and vulnerable young people through the power and values of the rugby community, and AVRS Media was there to capture it, completely free, as one of at least three charity events we commit to every single year. It's part of how we give back to Kent and make sure the incredible work happening on our own doorstep gets seen properly, not just talked about. We captured the day from every angle: participants golfing and genuinely enjoying themselves, and the sponsors whose backing made the whole event possible in the first place.

Problem
Great Causes Deserve to Be Seen, Not Just Attended
A charity golf day can raise money and still go completely unnoticed outside the people who were actually there on the day. Sittingbourne Rugby Club needed the event captured properly, not as an afterthought with a phone camera, but with photography good enough to show sponsors their support mattered, show participants the good time they had, and show the wider community exactly what Wooden Spoon and days like this actually achieve for vulnerable young people across the region.

Solution
Every Swing, Every Sponsor, Every Bit of the Day
We covered the golf day properly, capturing participants mid swing, laughing between holes, and genuinely enjoying a day built around a cause bigger than any of them. Just as importantly, we made sure to capture the sponsors who backed the event, giving them the recognition and usable imagery that keeps businesses coming back to support these days year after year. The result was a full, honest set of photography that told the story of the day from every side, the fun, the cause, and the people who made it possible.

Give Back Properly, or Don't Bother
We don't do charity work as a box to tick once a year for the sake of it. We do at least three charity events annually, completely free, because Kent has genuinely amazing work happening in it that deserves to be shown properly rather than left to a handful of phone photos nobody ever sees again. Turning up for Sittingbourne Rugby Club and Wooden Spoon with the same quality and care we'd bring to any paid client is the whole point, because the cause deserves nothing less than our best work.
Sittingbourne Rugby Club walked away with strong, usable photography from the day, giving Wooden Spoon and its sponsors a proper visual record of an event that raised support for disabled, disadvantaged and vulnerable young people across the rugby community, and giving AVRS another chance to put real effort back into the county we work in. The participents also walked away with them T'ing off pictures that they could have for themselves.
